Hi, I’m Mallory, the founder of Minor Details—and this all started with a very unexpected career change.

In 2023, I was laid off from my job in construction project management. While figuring out what came next, I opened an Etsy shop selling Taylor Swift-inspired pieces. That little shop took off, and by that fall, I was opening the doors to our first storefront in Manayunk.

What started with a little pop culture obsession has grown into a place for women who love a good outfit, their city, and a reason to celebrate. Think Philly pride, a cute game-day look, a gift that feels personal, and the finishing touch you didn’t know you needed.

Today, Minor Details has two Philadelphia storefronts in Manayunk and Fishtown, an online shop, and a growing embroidery studio where we get to bring even more of our ideas to life. I’m still very much the girl behind the details—dreaming up new designs, picking out your next favorite piece, and probably starting another creative project.

But my favorite part is seeing you make it your own. The outfits, the gifts, the traditions, the familiar faces coming back into the store. You’ve helped turn an unexpected beginning into something I’m so proud to keep building.
